Shawn - you look great. Just enough colour to accent and highlight. You should be quite proud of yourself.

Looks like you successfully split the difference between office attire and costume - right at your belt.
And it's easy to see why no one gave you any trouble (besides being a day for dress-up) - you pull that off pretty well.

Rex.

Very well put together. As Rex Tremende said, you pull it off well. Now that you've broken your office mates in with a positive experience, you can begin to wear the kilt from time to time. Congratulations!

One should never need an excuse to wear a kilt, but check out the list of "Scottish holidays" at http://thecapitalscot.com/scottishcalendar.html and add 6 April (Tartan Day, and the anniversary of the 1320 signing of the Declaration of Arbroath), along with any other days you might argue to be significant in Scottish history, not to mention the birthdays of any and all Scottish ancestors, relatives, and casual acquaintances.

Thank you everyone for the kind remarks. This experience at work gave me the guts to try to wear my kilt more often. I certainly will try to work on wearing one of my kilts to work in the future. St. Andrews day is a good suggestion!
I'm getting excited about getting my Argyll jacket and waist coat from Mac Ghille. He is also going to make a kilt for me! I will have to post some more photo's once they're done. The jacket and waist coat will be a lovat green tweed and the kilt will be a TANK made in the Gunn Ancient tartan! Needless to say, I can't wait.
Here's to all of you!
