Thanks, Santa, put another way, WHY ANY COLOR BESIDES RED? EVER?
Some take the high road and some take the low road. Who's in the gutter? MacLowlife

Oh, Great MacLowlife, lead us unto temptation! We are your humble ignorami!
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

If you want to kneel, I will be the first not to stop you. The only question I have is, 'don't you find it difficult to type, when you are on your knees?'

Cheers, Graham.
Looks like a tartan doublet to me, not a red PC coatee.

Unfortunatly, I have seen many biscuit tin lids... I was just commenting on having to try to remember pictures I have seen of doublets and match them to written descriptions, but I didn't say anything about having to block out all the mental images of biscuit tins.
I've done my best to learn about the doublets and Highland attire in general. Now that MacLowlife is taking over, he knows much more than me about Highland attire, I will have to find a new role on XMTS.
Keep the question bombardment going, MacLowlife! *salute*
