a few years ago I saw them at a christmas fair here is a little clip Gay Gordons dancing sorry it's not great quality

That, like many other dance groups, will vary.
Certainly at the event pictured there is always a live band.

Gay Gordons
The three groups of Gay Gordons, Edinburgh, London and Manchester, dance to recorded music at their classes, and when they organise a dance, usually at weekends) they hire a Scottish country dace band.
I am hoping our gay XMTS members in USA, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Bulgaria, Siberia etc, will start their own GG group !
