How does an Argyll jacket look?

I've seen quite a number of argyll jackets that just have the single button on the right and no hole on the left.

I think that is just appalling, it is nearly as bad as having no button hole in the left lapel of a day jacket. How any one can accept a jacket like that, is well beyond my ken.
