Nice photos Alex. We should never forget the sacrifices that were made by those answered the call.

As it is Remembrance Day in the UK I tried to find some media coverage of the service at the Cenotaph but could not find anything that could be received over here. Likewise the British Legions Festival of remembrance last night. So your post is all I have seen from the UK.
Thank you very much.
The Remembrance
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them

Lovely photos Alex.
Saw some kilts are the London Cenotaph too on TV but did not notice any tartan trews.

BBC.co.uk carried the service from the Cenotaph live online. I was up at
0545h EST to watch it.

I wish I had known that. I searched the BBC website and could only find the service at the Cenotaph on BBC television which they said was not available here online
Next time I want to see or listen to something from the UK I will look for it a few days early, then if I can't find it I can ask on the forum for advice.
Thanks for letting me know.
Thanks again for the photo's Alex.

It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
