I've played guitar since I was 11. And I have tried the bass several times. In fact, I got an acoustic bass last year that I have tinkered with some, but I really only play it if we can't find a real bass man. I like to listen to Jaco Pastorius and try to mimic some of his licks on occassion. I have only played 4-strings.
