The service will begin at 7 pm at St. George Church, which is located at 609 W. Gurley St. Prescott, AZ.
For more information, go to http://prescottorthodox.org
Right now it is listed on our parish calendar, but look for a featured story in the next few days.
And be sure to bring your tartan or kilt!

Slava te be boja!
I'm actually sorry to be in Canada, because I'll have to miss this! Maybe I'll have to talk our priest into doing this!
BTW, I thought Moliebens were more of a Slavic thing than Byzantine. Oh well, it wouldn't be the first time I was confused.

Well, I'm a priest of the OCA serving the GOA mission in Prescott, with alot of AOA people.
If you know what that all means, you get a cookie.
And you are probably an Orthodox Christian.
In any event, see you in Prescott on St. Andrew's Day - Nov. 30th at 7pm!

I understand it. But, then I'm kind of cheating - I'm an Orthodox monk.
At least the explanation didn't involve ROCA(E), ACROD, ROCOR, UOCA, or SCOBA. With that many initials, people would think we're weird.

Hey, Prester John
I live in Flagstaff and have to work that day, but may be able to make it down in time. I have a serious question: does it matter if I am not Orthodox, if I come to the kirkin' service?

I have a feeling there is about 400 miles between the 2 Vancouvers. I live on the Oregon border in the smaller yet older Vancouver, WA, USA. We are having our Clan MacKenzie St. Andrews open house on Dec 5th. You should come up for it.

of course not!
Everyone is welcome at our service - and, in case you're wondering - it is all in English (should go without saying!).
Welcome!
