For those wondering, I, personally, specialize in the four yard box pleated kilt, though I do occasionally take requests for other less-common styles, such as Kingussie pleats, or 5 or 6 yard knife pleated kilts.
However, through the Scottish Tartans Museum we can offer a variety of CMT services for things like jackets, vests, skirts and -- of course -- kilts. These are not made in house but we send the cloth to a variety of places we do business with to help you acquire your garment.
In this case, Mark's kilt was made by the fine kiltmakers of Lochcarron (it's not Lochcarron cloth), who do an absolutely outstanding job.
That kilt is an heirloom peice to be sure!
...I thought that looked like 8 yards.
