Pet Peeve
Going through a thread and instead of seeing a picture, seeing "This photo has been moved or deleted . . . Photobucket/Flickr/etc . . ."
I'm sure there are a million reasons this occurs. If I find a picture with a link on the web, I'll usually just copy and paste the URL. If that site lifts the picture, well I'm guilty too.
I don't know how XMTS feels about using its photo storage for these kinds of things, but I assume that's what it's there for. If I'm going to upload a picture from my HDD to show here, might as well use XMTS's photo/album storage. Seems to me that's the best chance the picture will stay as part of the thread.
If you're going to use Photobucket or some other third party's storage, which makes sense if you already have it loaded there, it sure would help the continuity of the threads to leave them there and not delete them.
Pet peeve over.

Yes, I went through the entire Prince Charles thread, and nearly all the pictures were gone. A real shame.

I haven't checked lately, but the photo gallery has a limit of, I think, twenty-seven pictures. You can use pictures from albums in the profiles, but they are required to be smaller.

I've only uploaded to albums and it looks like sixty pictures per album. I don't know if there is a limit to the number of albums you can create.
Anybody know the rules or where they are posted regarding photo albums?

Well, the number of pictures you can upload to the albums decreases as you upload more pictures. I've never taken it to the limit, so I'm not exactly sure. They are smaller pictures, so I guess you can have a lot more.
There's a thing on each picture's page that gives the address with IMG tags etc, and you can copy and paste it.
If there are instructions somewhere, I haven't come across them.
