...Yes, I got a picture ...will post it later this evening, tho it's pretty grainy.
I'm w/o sporran at the moment (got hose, and shoes that'll do...old Docs), picked up what I thought would be a great one, but it didn't have enough space in the pouch for all my piping-related stuff or even the cards and cell, so I returned it...kinda bummed actually, it was pretty sweet, an old RW Forsythe in good shape, metal cantle and horsehair...but it didn't suit what I needed. I guess I need garters too...tho yesterday I found yet another use for waxed yellow linen string besides pipe tenons .
If I can get my hands on a sporran somewheres before Christmas, I'm down to meet wherever, as soon as it shows up...got an economy holdover on order as of today. There's an Angus Mohr concert on the 5th, too, in B-field, I'm going in a kilt whether I have a sporran or not .

Angus Mohr on the 5th? Sweet! I'm there. I want to pick up a copy of their Christmas CD.

Hit up their website and get on the mailing list, if you're not already...that's the only place it was promoted.

I need to do that. I've been meaning to for a while now.

Just got an update email, it will be potluck style...
"Also, for those folks who've kindly volunteered to bring food or beverages, please bring whatever party food, snacks or munchies you'd like. We're not picky! Chips & dip, veggies, cheese trays, casserole, cakes, soda, beer, whisky, leftover pumpkin pie, whatever..."

I'll be the guy in a MacLaren Modern tank, probably with a snowboarding hoodie, maybe with a sporran, maybe with flashes, maybe with piper brogues, maybe not...depends on what Santa In Brown Pants brings this week...

I'll be in my Albannach, with purple Lewis Rich hose. They fit so well, I don't bother with flashes with them. Wonderful things, those hose... I will most likely be wearing a black long sleeved button down shirt. Oh yeah- and I have long reddish brown hair, and a red goatee.

I should've read better...almost certain I saw you there, just wasn't sure who I was looking for, and didn't want to run around saying "hey, are you that guy from X Marks..."
It was a good show, definitely.
