That is a beautiful piece of prose you have written Jamie.
I wish you all the best in your new role and I hope you will continue to be a mutual friend to xmarkers worldwide and that you will continue to post regularly on the forum.
Many thanks for all your hard work in the past years in helping to keep xmarks such a family friendly forum.

Thank you, Jamie for all your time and effort. Family comes first. Enjoy this time with your children. It seems to go by so quickly.

Jamie,
There are a lot of ways to say "well done." My own beloved US Navy taught me some of the most memorable:
BRAVO ZULU! Splice the mainbrace! May you enjoy fair winds and following seas.
KD:ootd:
'A damned ill-conditioned sort of an ape. It had a can of ale at every pot-house on the road, and is reeling drunk. "

My personal thanks for your work and consideration. I have always found you to be a fair and kind gentleman upon whom the rest of the rabble could count for wise counsel and good leadership.
We shall miss your presence as a mod, but I trust that you will always be around to comment, cajole, entertain, and impress.
I'm not sure that less moderation is the best of ideas since the mods have done an excellent job in keeping the peace and sheltering us from the visicitudes of the barbarians, but we shall see.
God speed.

It's always sad when someone steps down and it's of course understandable that you need some more time for other things after all the hours and hard work you have put in Jamie.
Thanks for all the hard work you have put in and I know we won't be losing you even with your Mod Hat off and replaced by other sartorial tonsorial coverings.

Jamie, it was a pleasure meeting you in Victoria this fall, and I add my voice to others in thanking you for the job you have done, and wishing you well with future endeavors. Treasure your time with your family...it goes by so quickly and you don't get a second chance.
Best regards
