The ultimate kilt photo...
Over my time here there have been various 'Post a picture of...' threads. And I've done my best to be in them. I've lost enough of the weight I gained now that I felt comfortable getting a nice photograph for those threads I've missed, but taking that many pictures in one day?
Well, here is my concession.
Kilted in the snow whilst walking dogs, smoking a pipe and doing 'The Hamish.' (At least, as well as one can when two dogs are tangling their leashes aound you and pulling in different directions.)

For those of you not in the know (And since I didn't make an announcement) the Black dog in the picture is Betsy, our new puppy.
After we dogsat for some friends Cody got used to having a buddy at home to play with so after a lot of thinking, discussion and attempts at impulse control we decided to get him a friend.
This is Betsy at 9 weeks old when we got her. She's apparently a Lab/Chesapeake cross but we think she may have something else in her as well.

This is a comparison shot of her at 17 weeks.

She is now 19 weeks and 59 pounds. She is going to be huge. Her paws are the same size as the Bernese mountain dog that we see at the dog park.
Luckily, she knows Cody is higher on the totem pole than her and they really love each other. she's a really sweet dog and smart as well so they get along like a house on fire.

Betsy adorable and certainly looks like she'll be a big girl...

Looking good. I also am jealous of that bright white snow, nothing but black depressing rain here in Scotland.

If you tell her "NO!" and she listens, then she might be a lab/golden cross.
If she response with "Oh, yeah?" or "Or what?" then she has chessie in her.

Great photos Arlen. Now can we see the photo taken right after the dogs pulled you over?
Here on the coast, we don't have any snow, however, the temps have been in the mid 30's to low 20's (w/o the windchill factor.) It's on days like this, my wife jokingly asks why 150 years after my family arrived in San Francisco from Scotland, did I decide to move us up here.

Reminds me of an Old English Sheepdog who was part of our family for years. He was a gift from a former C.O. If you said "NO" to that dog, he would not only tell you what he thought of that idea, but he would tell you where to go and what to do when you got there. The General had raised the dogs as a hobby. I was honored to received Jake from him, but his aide said he was the mouthiest dog in the litter. I suspect there was a little payback in sending that particular dog.

And if she totally ignores you, you have a well-disguised cat!
Cute puppy, Arlen!
