What ever diet you pick, stay away from potatoes, rice, and bread. I know way too many people who don't realize that starch is as bad as sugar. For me, it's even worse than sugar!
Personally, I eat mostly meat and eggs now. Dr cut my prescription in half last month. He said if my numbers are as low in 4 months he will take me off Metaformin completely!
