What ever diet you pick, stay away from potatoes, rice, and bread. I know way too many people who don't realize that starch is as bad as sugar. For me, it's even worse than sugar!

Personally, I eat mostly meat and eggs now. Dr cut my prescription in half last month. He said if my numbers are as low in 4 months he will take me off Metaformin completely!

    Tartan ties. Why not?

Sorry 'bout the diabetes. I've lost over 30 pounds on Weight Watchers, and now some of my kilts fit. In fact one of the goals at mt WW group was to attend a meeting kilted. Did this last week. The ladies loved it!

Now I'm recovering from knee replacement surgery and going to Physical Therapy daily. Have been told I can go kilted with appropriate shorts underneath.

    Best to all,

    Sam

Could you perhaps wear tartan shirts? My all-time favoirte shirt is a Ralph Loren cotton tartan dress shirt. No shirt pocket and very spiffy. L.L.Bean has been uping the number of nice tartan shirts it carries including their own registered store tartan.

Thanks for all the well wishes and support. Now to order more ties. I would really like one in the Isle of Skye if I can find it.
