Mt preference is the "Brooklands" motoring cap from The Complete Automobilist (www.completeautomobilist.com) which not only provides ear flaps, but neck protection as well.

I would recognise that style as the "Bugatti" too. The stalkers prefer to use this style of bonnet, rather than the "fore and aft" , or "deer stalker" out on the hill at this time of year, as they provide neck protection from the severe cold and they don't blow off.
