    Velvet Blazer at Target

I was shopping last night at Target when I spotted a rack with some velvet jackets on it. They were blazers that had been marked down to $48. The largest size they had was a 44L but still a bit small for me. So I thought I would pass this info out to the other members near a Target store. And before you go an look, I did not see them on their website.

If you want a formal doublet that will outshine all the PCs in the room, go for velvet. I'm sure these would be good jackets to convert to wear with your kilt. Velvet is a little more delicate a material to work with, but if you don't have to press it, you might be ok.

Just wanted to share that bit of information. If you find one and pick it up, let us know.

    HB,

I caught one of those blazers on eBay, or maybe it was last year's model. All it needs is shortening and a button change to really rock. Mine even has peak lapels, which are a little dressier. There is nothing like velvet to attract friendly touch at a party. Thanks for letting us know.

I saw those at Target too , they have matching velvet waistcoats as well.
They looked like they would make a swell conversion.

    Cheers
