I drink a cup of tea (black tea with a little milk) pretty much every morning; I might have a cup or two of green tea around lunchtime on a stressful day, but generally need to avoid caffeine after that or I don't sleep - one of the sad effects of aging, for me. Still, I can do roasted green tea (almost caffeine-free!) and often prepare a nice herbal tisane of sorts after (or while I prepare) supper.
I love lapsang souchong and other smoky teas, but not usually first thing in the morning, so that is a rare treat. And unfortunately my current favorite black breakfast-style tea is a relatively expensive Yunnan/Assam blend called Big Ben, available only through le Palais des Thés in France. I just finished the last of my little stash - no more until next summer!
