I drink a cup of tea (black tea with a little milk) pretty much every morning; I might have a cup or two of green tea around lunchtime on a stressful day, but generally need to avoid caffeine after that or I don't sleep - one of the sad effects of aging, for me. Still, I can do roasted green tea (almost caffeine-free!) and often prepare a nice herbal tisane of sorts after (or while I prepare) supper.

I love lapsang souchong and other smoky teas, but not usually first thing in the morning, so that is a rare treat. And unfortunately my current favorite black breakfast-style tea is a relatively expensive Yunnan/Assam blend called Big Ben, available only through le Palais des Thés in France. I just finished the last of my little stash - no more until next summer!

NewGuise, I understand about the caffeine issues... I've had to switch to decaf due to some health issues (I probably should avoid all caffeine, but that's not happening). I think that may be another reason I've not restocked on some of my favorite teas. *sighs* Still, the occasional cup as a treat sounds sooooo nice!

Imperial Gunpowder Green Tead from Stashtea.com is my favorite. It's really good as iced tea too.
