    I really like this tartan.
    It will be this or the heritage of Ireland to be my next kilt.
    The heritage of Scotland is the most likely. I really like the blue and purple.

    But what colour hose should be worn with it? Purple will be an overkill I think, Navy or royal blue?

    so where do those purple hose come from?? I mean the ones you can buy...not the laundry mistake!? I need to get a set to go with my Young Tartan...purple hose and yellow garters!

    Purple looks good on almost everyone.
    Looks like a good example of the Power of the Purple kilt.
    I guess I had better bring mine with me if I do make it out to 'Frisco next year.

    Mine are the Lewis hose from the Tartans Museum. The ones OCR cited are W Brewin

    Thanks Ken...I had found some woolrich ones on ebay after I asked as well...just turns out that Scotsweb didn't/doesn't carry them when I was buying my others that I currently own.
