I think the Campagna Center tartan has a very Christmas look to it.

I wore Irish National on christmas day, the family liked it. But I may try Royal Stewart for christmas 2010, if I'm still around. Very impressed with the 'christmassy' look of all the pics btw.

Another thought on this would be to wear your clan tartan whatever it may be. It is always most appropriate.

    What's a good Xmas tartan?

The curmudgeon in me must reply: your own, of course!

I had a winter scarf in the MacDonald Dress tartan which, with the white interspercing (is that the right word?) the regular MacDonald pattern, used to impress young women as "Christmasy". So I wore it!

I am biased towards Robertson Red, though.
Yeah, Robertson Red for the win.

Fell free to try my family tartan, Thomas of Wales. Plenty of red and green for that holiday spirit:

Green and red for the festivities; and, black and white for the police squad cars to keep things under control.
