Finally...pics as promised
Well...Happy New Year's Eve to the rabble! My wife and I are staying home this New Year's Eve with our two kids and my niece...but that doesn't mean I can't dress up!! Here's pics of me with my new Young Modern tank and the lovely goat hair sporran that my wife bought me from Skye Highland Outfitters (Thanks Josh!!!). It's a bit "green" but I think it works ok...kind of festive for the holidays.

That is a beautiful tartan. The goat hair sporran is rather unique. Enjoy! You look grand!
Happy Hogmanay to you!

Is that the "John Brown" or a custom sporran?

Yes...it is a John Brown styled sporran...with some extra attention and care by Josh...the hair will never again be used by Josh, so he told my wife. It's Khyber Angora Goat hair...from the Afghan/Pakistan region of the world...in honor of all the time I've spent there. I've very grateful to Josh for his workmanship, a beautiful sporran, and the assistance that he gave my wife in making the purchase.
Thanks for the compliments all...and I'll try to smile next time! Bad habit of mine...everybody that doesn't know me at work thinks I'm really intimidating because I always look p@#$ed off...in reality I'm one of the most laid back, fun-loving guys around. Ah well...sometimes it's good to look mean!
