    Hiya all...

Answering some of the questions and comments posed since I put this up:

Highlander: The campground is owned/run by the city where we live. It's a matter of phoning the city office to book the place for the weekend.

MacKay: This is near Kofu, Japan, which is near the South Alps... The Japanese Highlands if you will... ;-)

John & Oddern: The Norwegian fellow, Terje, is a heckova nice guy indeed. And as Oddern pointed out, Norwegians can be very useful people. He would freely lend out his camera to anyone for hours at a time. His philosophy was that people were generally pretty careful and honest, and he would always have some pretty neat surprises on his memory card when he got back home. Don't think he's shopping for a kilt yet though... He just seemed mesmerized by mine... lol.

Jack: the m/f ratio at many Japanese events is favorable... Always gotta be careful though. I enjoy the scenery myself. All with great caution, mind you. Just because a man is happily married already doesn't mean he doesn't get tempted. And some ladies will flirt like there's no tomorrow without necessarily stopping to consider one's marital status (as a good friend of mine recently, and very unfortunately found out)...

Jim: I hear ya, man. But at the same time, the SWK model of the Irish Saffron is, as all SWK kilts are, very, very affordable. Don't sell the dog. Just breed 'im and sell the puppies. That's the way you're supposed to do it... lol

    Jim,

How would you rate the SWK Standard Vs the Heavy? I Have the SWK saffron in the Standard, great kilt but just a touch light.
