My cousin rented kilts for his groomsmen from the Highland Fling Shop in Lake Orion, MI. It is just north of Detriot.

thanks all. i appreciate the thoughts. i was also thinking of the british shop as i do piping business with them, but i think i may just wind up going with kiltrentalusa.com. a little pricier, but for what i'm after look wise the british shop would be a hair under that....ie buying black shirts, black hose etc. has anyone dealt with kiltrentalusa.com before? i guess their full name is kilt rental & Claymore Imports. now comes the important questions....where do i get a tweed argyle jacket that is black? and should i get a new evening wear sporran .... in black?

The style you have chosen is rather dark and somber and looks a bit monochrome for such a happy occasion. Of course, it is your day and you can have anything you want, but I would go up the colour scale a couple of notches.

Chas, I agree with you but it tends to form a "modern look" at weddings now-a-days. It seems that those who wish to wear traditional attire on their wedding day do so untraditionally, which is fair enough.
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
