The most you have paid/would pay for a kilt?

I just payed $550 for a had stitched kilt in my MacDonagh tartan. The material had to be specially woven by D.C. Dalgliesh in Scotland, as this is a rare piece of material. It's currently in the making, so I can't wait for it to be completed.

Needless to say, I did not inform my 'better half' of this deed. Will she be surprised when it shows up!

And when it does come I bet you don't inform her of the full cost!
