I think you did a splendid job on the bow tie! There's one thing you need to remember about bow ties; The ones who have a perfect knot, are the guys that wear pre-tied clip-ons! Some of the charm with bow-ties is that they are a wee bit shy of perfect! And of course, you can leave it untied around your neck at the end of the evening and in a very cool manner let all the clip-on guys know that you actually know how to tie your own bow-tie...

I used to have those smug thoughts about an untied bow tie at the end of the evening too! Too many years ago to want to remember now though!

A very credible job. I always have difficulty getting the actual knot to look smooth; yours looks quite good.

By the way, is that a navy jacket and waistcoat? Are you wearing studs in the shirt?
