I agree! One of my favorite Donald Sutherland movies is "The Eagle Has Landed" wherein he plays an Irish spy working for the Nazi's who are intent on capturing Sir Winston Churchill. Good movie with him as an understated bad guy. He comes across menicingly well. If you haven't seen it give it a watch.
Someone may need to correct me on this but I think the premise for the movie was loosely based on fact. If I'm wrong my apologies to all.

Just about everyone my age grew up with Kiefer Sutherlin on the screen, and while I'm not a huge fan, there's lots of stuff I like that he has been in.
It's nice to see that he wears the kilt quite well.

Good to see him in the Douglas tartan. I saw him in an interview saying that he wears it to honour his grandfather, Tommy Douglas. Kiefer Sutherland is very proud that his grandfather was the force behind the Canadian medicare system and has been a vocal supporter on our universal medicare. A fews ago Douglas was voted the Greatest Canadian ever.
I also wear the Douglas tartan in honour of Tommy Douglas - wonder if I can get a guest spot on 24?

And let us not forget his maternal grandfather, Tommy Douglas, who brought national healthcare to Canada!

AND, that it seems to have taken a Canadian-son to instill a sense of security in the pan-American psyche!
The spirit of the Declaration of Arbroath (6 April 1320) abides today, defiantly resisting any tyranny that would disarm, disperse and despoil proud people of just morals, determined to keep the means of protecting their families and way of life close at hand.

Isn't it ironic that the guy who is repeatedly saving the US over and over again, is a Canadian?
