I'll have to say I think the bird sporrans are a bit of a novelty, but the masks are truly beautiful--and very traditional.
I am quite sure that full mask sporrans are traditional as well. I do have to say though, as a traditionalist, I'm more comfortable with foxes, and certain members of the weasel family (like badgers) as full mask sporrans.
I find the non-mammal and traditional mask sporrans to be....very weird.

Wow...that about sums it up.
No really, the only ones on there that I would even entertain the idea of wearing (and to think as traditional) would be the Badger (as the A&SH Officers wear a version of the badger head) and the Goat. The goat reminds me of some of the historical versions of sporrans. Like maybe a Victorian style. That would look nice with a regulation doublet and a lairds or fly plaid...of course you would need to replace the horn toggle on it...
Just my two cents..

My Labradors would love both the duck and pheasant sporrans and would probably follow my husband around in the hopes that he will throw it.

If she made them only from endangered species I would be down to get one. Who wants to play it safe with regular old animals. I want a whale skin sporran and a vest made from real gorilla chest (stolen from the Simpsons). If only I could find 101 dalmatians to make a sporran and matching cape. I wonder if she would do one from a Great Horned Owl. I would wear it when I submitted my picture and application for PETA. All joking aside, I like the fox sporran, and some of the nice non-mask sporrans. Thanks for the link.

I think that might be illegal, then again...
I think there is about 2 counties in Ohio that it is legal to hunt them in, and I think it should be far more than 2.

Looks to me like one can shoot geese all over Ohio!
