What a wonderful idea. We're too old to have a bairn, but there are always grandchildren, I hope.

About 7-10 days from order to receipt, in my case. Looking forward to the results.

Looking at the sling's placement, over the right shoulder, I am reminded of why the woman's plaid is so frequently expected to be on the right, not the left.
While I have read discussions of it it encumbering the right arm, having a baby on the left, supported by a sling (or plaid) actually frees the right arm to go on stirring the porridge. Thank you for the perfect example of that!

When I looked at Royal Mail's international services one said about 3 days to the US and the other said 30. I'm languishing away here!
In the mean time, I made an onbuhimo carrier for my 22 month old and for the decorative trim, I used sample swatches of MacPhearson red from Marton Mills' Keighlyey range to tide me over. It worked for about a day.
I'm pretty proud of it though. I embroidered some bagpipes on it because I thought it needed something.
Although every once in a while, I'll wear both my kids if I have to (one on front and one on back) most likely my husband will be wearing her and I'll be wearing the new baby. *
