Good for You
That is one great looking kit. You should be very proud of your labor and ability.

Beautiful! It's making my jones for my tweed kilt twice as bad!

I have nothing but admiration for someone who can do what you did with that wool. Very nice.

Well done. And yes, you've demonstrated that even white hose can look really fine with the right outfit. At least if worn by the right person!

Very fine job Brother. You are an artist to say the least.
Friends, I've seen this work close up and it is without flaw. I really can't express in words the talent this man has.
I will be posting photos of the fine jacket and waist coat Mac Ghille Sheathanaich made for me shortly.
Slainte!

White shirt, white sporran, white hose - what could be better?
A little bit of spray starch and a warm iron might help with the sticking together - only on the inside due to it being likely to make white flakes. It makes the surface of the material smooth and slightly glossy, though only temporarily.

Argyll kit
Greetings all, 1 February, 06:30MST
Thanks once again to all for your kind comments. I am humbled.......
The hose are actually cream and the shirt a pale yellow.
The hose I wore was actually "plan B". Plan A hasn't come to fruition yet.
My wife and I bought three skeins of wool knitting yarn which matches the kit, for "matching kilt hose futures".
Neither of us knit, nor is it likely that we ever will. I would rather try to be pretty good at a couple things, than half-arsed at a whole bunch.
Maybe some day we will get connected to someone who can make me some kilt hose with this yarn we bought.
My next project is a kilt in the "Leslie Modern" for a pal of mine in Dumfries.
Be well all.
Fide et Fortitudine, aye!
