    So the book is not working.

    I set it on my fabric over three days ago and when I came into the room today...still no kilt.

    I guess I will have to do it myself. I took everything out to the table, figured out what should be some working splits and marked off the pleat lines. What took the longest was deciding what stripe to pleat to.

    Actually the hardest part was freehanding the a-line of the aprons, I may still have to redraw it once more before I go to the store for thread and some canvas.

    Going one step at a time, working with the material, rather than trying to understand everything first has made this seem do-able.

    That is hysterical, I have the same problem with dirty dishes. . .

    I agree. Read the whole thing first, to get a big picture, but console yourself that many of the details will seem fuzzy until you get there "for real."
