No, it was taken at the Clan Macpherson annual gathering in 2007 in Badenoch (specifically near the town of Newtonmore), Inverness-shire, Scotland.

Thank you all for such a warm, Highland welcome! I am so excited to begin speaking with all of you. My own clan has their own forum, called the 'MacPhorum' where I am a monitor and a involved contributer. I shall begin posting tomorrow when I have more time! Meantime, I am gearing up for Superbowl 44!

MacPherson Clan museum - isn't that in Newtonmore? I missed it at the recent Clan Chattan Band of Union resigning. Anyone care to tell us what it's like? I did see the small shed museum at Moy (MacKintosh), which I especially liked as I felt I was discovering everything in a garden shed. They have an old Chattan banner, a large R.R.McIan print of Ghillies MacBean, the bed Prince Charlie slept in before Culloden, various ancient swords and sporrans, etc.
Welcome from a fellow from Clan Chattan.
