Yes, I've seen Silly Wizard perform live. Brilliant player. But as much fun as it would be to play Celtic music on the squeezebox, I'm really more interested in polka and gypsy sounds (that includes French jazz and Eastern European music).

Great find! Enjoy your new instrument. I'm curious to hear how you end up dividing your time betwixt the pipe and the accordion.

Play the West Coast way of Bobby MacLeod (aka God) and Fraser MacGlynn !!

My Dad was best mates for many years with Jim McLeod's box player, Tommy Ford (we called him Uncle Tommy). Through him, back in the '60's, our Gow family trio got a spot at Dunblane Hydro in Jim McLeod's regular show.

Back in the 1930’s my gamekeeper Granddad in Kintyre, Argyll was offered a recording contract by Beltona for his button-box playing. He preferred to play pipe tunes and Gaelic-style music. He had to decline the recording offer for work reasons, so lost the chance. Will Hannah got the subsequent recording contract.
