That is a wonderful looking tartan. I hadn't seen it before. It's simple and elegant, and with the muted colors, the yellow really stands out. Pleating it to the yellow stripe was an excellent choice, as it would have looked rather drab from the back otherwise. I like it!

I just bought some very thick grey hose that match up perfectly... I'm still looking out for bright yellow flashes, though!
