New enough (and with pictures)
I've made a few posts here and there already but this is my first formal introduction to my fellow X Markers.
Like my profile says, I'm a vegan straight edge kid living in Salt Lake City, UT. I've only just started wearing a kilt recently, a PV Ancient Buchanan from Scotweb and a PV Gunn Modern from Rocky @ USA Kilts on its way (and more to come I'm sure).
My friends and close acquaintances wonder why the sudden, radical change in attire and I explain that I've always known about my Scottish ancestry but it's only now that I'm starting to actively embrace it through learning about my family histories, Scottish history in general and through embracing Scottish culture; learning to make traditional (albeit veganized) food, kilt wearing, etc.
Anyhow, hello again! Glad to be here!
Went for a hike this afternoon and snapped a few pictures. I don't mean to scowl! I promise I'm a pushover!

Welcome neighbor...be careful around Rocky...I've purchased 25 of his kilts...including the Gunn in semi-trad. Lovely tartan though, you're gonna love it. Bought it after I found a few drops of Gunn blood in my heritage.
