Personally, I prefer the Jabot when I wear a doublet. The cuffs I can do without: especially if I am eating. Jabot are easy to come by and I wear it over a mock turtle neck.
Ricky Craford, the Glenlivet Brand rep, is wearing a sheriffmuir with a regular tie.
We're smiling since I am holding a bottle of Glenlivet XXV at the end of a whisky tasting event (The Glenlivet, of course!)!

Hmm... he is also wearing a semi-dress sporran
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
