Has anyone seen a standing collar nehru type kilt cut jacket?
I think that it would have a nice clean look plus I've always liked those
style of jackets.
I'm also a fan of that collar (Nehru, mandarin, stand up, etc) and, for traditional Highland wear, it is found on the Sherrifmuir and Kenmore doublets:
- Justitia et fortitudo invincibilia sunt
- An t'arm breac dearg
How about this one from Slanj?
Still quite formal I guess...
That's just a Sheriffmuir doublet I believe
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

Yes Paul, it is indeed a Sheriffmuir, which has the Cadet collar the OP is looking for, no? I posted this one because it's not quite as formal looking as the other one I posted.
How about an Iona jacket? I've been meaning to start a thread about them specifically because I don't know any history or context... here's a few pics:

I decided to start a thread specifically about the Iona in the general kilt talk section. I'd still like to see if anyone else has suggestions for the OP here regarding other cadet collar jackets though!
How about a Chinese style jacket like Toddish McWong from Gung Haggis Fat Choy wears with the kilt? You could easily find one in plain coloured cotton if you want something less fancy...
