With what type of outfit, as a point of reference, would this stock tie be worn?
I'm guessing we aren't talking about riding after six PM..., so it is intended for daywear.
Does the stock tie have any place in traditional Highland daywear?
Traditionalists, what do you think?
I've never seen an equestrian stock tie worn with traditional highland daywear. Come to think of it, I've never seen anything other than a normal necktie worn. I think you'd be better served to wear a solid colored tweed, repp striped, or small-patterned tie, than something so clearly associated with riding.
Cordially,
David
