Ya, thanks, Chris.
I guess you could have two different styles of outfit for the grooms if both are kilted.
I'll have to ponder that.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Ron,
The one little tyke was in several kilted weddings that year! His mother informed me that he has since outgrown the kilt I made him (which he apparently wore quite a bit). They want him to grow a bit more before they order him his next kilt!
Ted,
The jackets were both supposed to be black (but yes they were to be different cuts). They arrived less than a week before the wedding, so there was no time to complain (and my husband prefers non-black jackets generally anyway). The trick with an all male wedding party (in my mind) is to coordinate everyone, but also make everyone a bit different.
Cheers
Chris

That' makes sense, Chris.
I'm thinking something on the lines of a black Argyle and a charcoal gray Argyle.
Maybe a bit fancier with a black, dress Argyle and a green or very dark red, velvet Sheriffmuir. It might be interesting if both wor jabots or something like that with those.
Over in that wedding thread, I brought up that I have come to like the look of tartan hose, so that would be nice. Just trying to see it in my mind.
Anyway, thanks, Chris, this has been an interesting discussion.

Ted, I was kilted at my wedding, the pics are at:

Beyond the kilt in the photos, my husband (the one with the short hair in the photos), has an Irish American Tank, and a SWK black shadow tartan (and as I said his eye on my USA Freedom and my SWK nightstalker)
Cheers

Chris,
Great wedding album! I don't even know you and I found my eyes misting up a little.
The kilt wearing ring bearers were absolutely adorable and I love the picture of the one boy grinning from ear to ear when he tried on his kilt. Looks like they had a lot of fun.
The idea of tartan accessories for your families was a great one. A lot of folks might object to wearing a kilt but a tie or a shoulder plaid fit the bill perfectly.
Thanks for sharing the album,
Brian
