In my opinion, the X Marks Sponsors on the right of each page should be a pop-up link rather than a direct link which takes you away from xmarksthescot.com
I think I understand what you are saying. If you click on the link you end up logged off, and there's no way back to the XMTS site. My screen and setup is way, way different from yours, but I think if you right click, it will open the link in a new tab or window, then you don't get logged off. * Never mind on the rest.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose… Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I've asked Steve to see if the code guy can set these to open in a new tab. Brian
In a democracy it's your vote that counts; in feudalism, it's your Count that votes.
The way the advertisers open seems to depend on the system you are using. On Ubantu/Firefox they open as a separate tab, as they always have.

Tabbed browsers have options you can set to override the default behavior set by the website code which is what you are seeing. IMHO links on a website that lead to a different site should be set up to open in a new tab / page so perhaps the AD links can be changed.
