    If you don't want to EVER dress it up, than you can do a casual. If not, I would choose either a 8 yard pv from SHO or a Semi from USAK. One of those would dress up much easier.

    Aye. My part of the World is about as casual as you can get. I got to liking my semi-trads so well sold off some casuals to buy the same tartan in semi-trad.

    Wear my semi-trads hiking, on the river, out on the rezlands, to work...most versatile and still look like a kilt.

    Fine to start with casuals to save money, but if you ever buy a semi-trad you'll be wanting more. Try one of each, then decide where to go for more.
