Anyone know what festivities are planned in the DC area this year?

I haven't heard of anything yet, but then I haven't paid too much attention to it of late. I'm planning to wear a kilt to work.

Perhaps the local XMTS VA-MD-DC mob could gather at a pub for a kilt night?

That will be my Dad's 80th birthday, so I'll be in Chesapeake with him. Lift one for us!

The Fredericksburg Scottish Society will celebrate Tartan Day at the Fredericksburg Apothecary Shop the Saturday, April 10, after Tartan Day from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. I am planning to participate and do a walk around Old Town Fredericksburg pub hoping.

The evening of Tartan Day, April 6th I plan to celebrate at the Fredericksburg British Pub enjoying a Bellhaven Scottish Ale or two.

i am new to the fredericksburg area, i know where the apothecary shop is, but where is the pub at. would love to be there for both days. i definetly will have on my kilt either way

Right off I-95 it is behind the Route 3 mall now called the Spotsylvania Towne Center. There is a new large building with new shops and restaurants there. It will be between the back of Sears and Macy's. Look forward to meeting you!
