Yes Terry, I have only just noticed that, but have no real idea as to how it got there - something to do with Steve or the Mods I imagine; I certainly had no hand in it. So, to whoever was responsible, my grateful thanks. I am honoured.
Take care,
Ham.

Every rule, bylaw and Grand Idea is meant to be broken in a good cause, and this certainly is the goodest. You can tell I'm a word person, eh?
Even the most wordy of us have times when words fail, as now. Hamish, keep the faith, Brother. Read the stories of strength and goodness -- they help remind you that others have walked a similar path.
My own father was diagnosed with colon cancer in 1985 at age 70. Over the next 21 years I learnt a lot from him about the nature of hope, fear, courage, humour, candour, joy, and will. Even in 2000 at age 85 he could still spell me off one-and-one using an old-fashioned post auger to dig holes to plant trees in the shelter-belt at the farm in South Dakota. We dug 600 holes one weekend and still took time off for me to walk in a graduation ceremony and get my Master's degree.
I'm mindful of my own place in a risk population. I belong to a large extended group of men and women who maintain a level of vigilance. For those who've been there, the wry humour of "The Black Stallion Equestrian Club" helps keep us reminded that we can always laugh for, with -- and sometimes at -- each other.

Hamish,
I am just now hearing of you health issues. For what it is worth know that you have a United Methodist Pastor from the tip of Western Kentucky praying for you and also for all the doctors and nurses guiding your care.
Blessings,
the Reverend Anthony Schaeffer, a.k.a The Kilted Reverend
