    Coinstar!

I just took the growler full of loose change I've been saving up for the past few years to one of those Coinstar machines...and came away with $98!!!

I guess it's time to get in touch with Rocky and ask about some swatches.

It's amazing how loose change adds up, congratulations... but don't you lose 10% using those machines?

Depends. At my bank it's free for customers.

    Enjoy the kilt!

I'm always amazed when banks DON'T have an automatic coin sorter... I mean, they're banks, right? Aren't they supposed to be equipped to handle money (of all sorts)?

Anyway, congrats again on the savings, and keep us posted on the tartan selection.

I would think you could fill out a deposit slip and leave the amount blank and leave it to the bank to count.

My bank in Pennsylvania had one for public use. You put the coins in and got a receipt that you then took to a teller. You could get cash or make a deposit. I used it a lot.

My coinstar rule is not to put quarters in. I can count them easily enough and roll 'em if I've got 'em. I'll pay 10% to avoid dealing with pennies and nickels.
