Flagging a personal message
So I just got a personal message that I think was spam. It was really weird in that they asked me to sell their kilt for them. Anyways, I clicked the red flag and put in my comments. How do I know that a MOD received it and looked at it? Do they send a personal message back confirming the 'flagging'?

I think it immediately goes into the Moderator's Forum.

Something like that I would forward to Steve so that he can take immediate action and I knew that he would get it.

As a former mod I can assure you that if you report a thread, and now this extends to a PM the moderators will get an email alerting them. I'm sure one of them will get back to you as soon as they can.

I'm sorry Brice, yes you should have received a PM thanking you for the report. You can blame me.
It was indeed a spammer. This person was from Pakistan and was trying to sell Kilts. They also tried to post in the "For Sale" section.
We caught them and had them banned as a spammer withing 30 min.
The Reporting system has always been part of the forum Software and I have not changed it. Any member has always been able to report posts, threads and PM's
Thank you for your report of the PM you received.
