Thank you all for your replies, complete with photos and advice. I have never ordered custom hose from a retailer that makes them in the US, that is why I was a wee bit hesitant, but you all have made me seriously reconsider! I just want to ensure that I will be receiving a high-quality pair of hose, that will last a long while, and that are well made. I currently own two pairs of custom tartan hose in the Argyll pattern to match with my Macpherson red modern and red ancient kilts. They are both from Kinloch-Anderson, out of Leith, Scotland, and are truly magnificently made and look/feel great! The hose from Skye are considerably cheaper in cost and they have more of a variety of styles-those two things are what have attracted me to the company. After reviewing the photos thoroughly, and reading your comments, I am convinced that the hose I shall order from Skye in the near future, will be exactly what I want! There are so many options available from the Skye website, I can't wait to order! Thank you all again!

Ah, the original Tap Room! I was just there last month!

Yes, quite right Todd. The meeting was at the Schlafly Tap Room, near downtown St. Louis. Wonderful place with good food and great pints!

Sorry to hijack, but just had to say that seeing the photo and the words Schlafly Tap Room brought back memories of the excellent Scotch Ale made there that I have not been able to quaff for far too long.....

I sure wish you guys would stop raving so much about Josh's custom hose... it's making me jones even harder for my own set that he's making!!!!!
I'll be sure to post pics of them (with matching kilt) when I get them. But you guys sure aren't making the wait any easier. Thanks a lot!
