    It's funny you should post this...I have a very old, well worn OD Army blanket with some holes in it that I was considering making into a Tam o Shanter similar to the RROS wears...that was just yesterday and now you post these instructions...what a coincidence...I guess this is my sign!

    By the way...good job on yours! Are you decorating it or leaving it plain?

    Well done. I have been looking for this type pattern. I may try to make one out of khaki fabric for lightweight summer use.
