Ya Wally Cat, those walnut husks also have a chemical in them that can prevent other plants from growing, and the mess could become a big problem for the lawn. Plant very carefully. 
On the other hand, it is very nice wood...
I used to have a Les Paul guitar made of walnut, with a black walnut fingerboard. It's not ABW, but still very nice.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
