Regarding your wife's sash, I think it looks perfectly fine as pictured! The "tradition" dictating on what shoulder the sash may be worn is one that I think should be consigned to the trash bin. In my research, it seems to be a "tradition" that has no real prescedent and was just made up for the sake of having rules -- and not that long ago, at that. I say let the ladies' wear their sashed how they wish!

Thanks for the kind comments, I appreciate them. I am pleased that we tend to have the same likes in terms of Highland dress. I have seen many of your photos at your blog, and on the gift shop website, you always look very smart, and I love how you "step outside the box" with different variations of hose, jackets, sporrans, the whole kit! I am finally reaching that point. It's funny how one's mentality towards Highland attire shifts at times, and I think that may often depend upon how one sees others wearing their Highland attire, and thus becomes inspired. You have definitely done that for me mate!Thanks for the sash comments. I only really brought it up becuase one person said something to me about my wife's sash at the end of that specific night. The person was very cordial and respectful, and I definitely knew better and just didn't even think of it! I agree with you completely with regards to the whole sash topic!
