Welcome, from another active duty Airman. I've been in the AF for a little over 5 years now, and I've worn my kilt to a number of "official" functions...Squadron Thanksgiving party, Squadron Christmas Party, etc The awesome thing is that at the time, our British Liaison Officer was from Scotland...He thought it was really cool that I wore my kilt, although my fellow Airmen laughed at me. I've also worn my USAF cammo kilt here in Baghdad (where I am at the moment). I wish you the best of luck with finding "excuses" to wear your kilt both on and off duty.
