Again... This was merely an idea... It would indeed take some moderation... As far as I know there's just the one company that makes a "life achievement" social network software, but it's only for the iPhone...

Because of the size of the forum (and number of members) I think the only feasible way to do anything like this would be to not only go on an honour system, but have a system whereby members could "check their own" achievements... If a mod had to personally add achievements to each and every member's account/profile, it would be a daunting task -- even if it were only the core group of members who were interested.

But as an idea or concept, I was wondering what people thought of such an "achievement" system like we see in some video games...

P.S. Wompet: You got a lot checked there... Thanks for sharing though. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your response... But that is why my vision would be to literally have like 3x as many achievements in each category than the ones I listed here... That way people, no matter how many kilts they own or how often they wear them, or how often they post on this site could still find some new challenges...
