    Kilt comment

Sunday, I went on a training walk for the upcoming Avon Breast Cancer Walk. I was of course kilted, since I am going to walk kilted. There were a few dozen of us walking, and I was the only man. One lady asked why I wore a kilt. I replied that the kilt is very comfortable, I think I look good in it, and even more importantly, Michele my wife thinks I look good in a kilt. Well, off we started, and of course immediately strung out along the Silver Spring streets we were walking. About a mile in, as I was waiting for a light to change, three ladies came up behind me. One said, "Your wife is right, you do look good in a kilt." I grinned. One of her friends said "Of course he's grinning, he knows you've been looking at his @$$ for the last three blocks." Score one for being in shape and the swing of Rocky's Isle of Sky Casual.

BTW, I did tell Michele this story. She laughed and said other women can look all they want.

It just goes to prove that a kilt is without doubt the best way to break the ice with strangers, and the fact that it is a magnet to the fairer sex, is just the icing on the cake.

Great that your wife is so secure within herself, that she need not worry about all the female attention you get while kilted.

Keep up the good work for charity, it is worthy of your time.

    Kindest Regards,

    David.
